Many of you do not know him however he was the leader of the 1.SS for many years. He is the one person who started the realism community for RO. I knew him very well and was in the 1.SS for 4 years. He was a very devoted WWII person and an avid guitar player. I just wanted to post this here for the people who did know him. Rest In Peace Wolf....
I give you one last \o...
Wolf is the person who started this...
He will be missed...

My god, I can't believe this! I remember the hours I spent on IRC talking with him and the many trainings we had with the 1.SS when we had the Kampfgruppen. While there was often tension with the KG's it was fun none the less. Wolfrum was an interesting character to say the least but certainly did not deserve a fate like this.

Wow.... I really can't believe it..
He is one of the few that really got me going in studying more details in WWII, and tought me many things. I spent my days chatting to him, and I regarded him as a close friend...
One thing.. What happens to Dora now?
R.I.P. Bryan Marchisio - Wolff. You will be missed.

Sorry to read this. I remember when I was in the 1.SS way back when. Sort of nostalgic.

Ich hatt' einen Kameraden,
Einen bessern findst du nit.
Die Trommel schlug zum Streite,
Er ging an meiner Seite
: In gleichem Schritt und Tritt. :
Eine Kugel kam geflogen:
Gilt's mir oder gilt sie dir?
Sie hat ihn weggerissen,
Er liegt zu meinen Füßen
: Als wär's ein Stück von mir :
Will mir die Hand noch reichen,
Derweil ich eben lad'.
"Kann dir die Hand nicht geben,
Bleib du im ew'gen Leben
: Mein guter Kamerad!" :
Wolfrum's memory will live on!
I am not letting the unit die! I have created a new website in his memory!
Rest in peace dear friend.

Many people did not understand or get along with him but I was one of the few that did understand and kept in touch with him as much as I could. I think I helped keep his spirit happy as he was down I tried to keep him in happy thoughts. I will miss you wolff. RIP and Godspeed. \O

I have spent many many days enjoying Bryan's company, and even though I only knew him over the internet, he was still considered a close friend to me. This news really breaks my heart.
If anyone has contact information for his family please PM it to me.

I met Wolfrum back in 2006 when i was on 1.SS server, never got involved then and wish i did in realism, our units were allied in the last campaign TOC for RO.
I was also part of his GD unit for Arma 2, Wolf was very knowledgable about ww2 and I have learned many things from him, i made some asociated friends with 1.SS and those that were part of the GD unit, although i spoke with Wolf quite a many times on IRC, as well as e-mail and on steam.
Wolf was the man that kept the unit really inpiring as he had that discipline and organised understanding of the German Unit which i really admired and like very much, as well as you guys in 2.SS does.
Although i had my small arguments with wolf sometimes, it was on a level where personalities crash i suppose but when i just accepted wolf for who he was and how he chose to do things, then i gained a greater respect of him.
Hearing this news of his passing has left me with shivers, sounds kinda of corny i guess but i could care less what any others think, i like the guy.
I pay my respects, and am happy too that Behncke will continue the 1.SS unit.
keep the spirit alive.
Reguards,
Gunter
