65th anniversary! To keep this thread in with the Historysection, here's some history...
Let me just tell you a little unknown history.. As usual...
You know how many Allied ships the German Kriegsmarine sunk on this date, that participated in the landings? One.. Off nearly twelve thousand ships that was there, the German Kriegsmarine sunk just one.
It get's even weirder... Off all the twelve thousand ships there, the Kriegsmarine did find their way to a Norwegian ship. We had like.. 3-4 bigger ones? I just find that too weird. The unfortunate vessel, HNoMS Svenner:

Uboat.net writes the following about it:
History:
Svenner (Lt.Cdr. T. Holte) was torpedoed and sunk off Normandy during an attack by the German torpedo boats T 28, Möwe, Falke and Jaguar.
The wreck lies in 31 meters in position 49º27'42"N, 00º15'06"W. 41 Norwegians and 2 British died, 187 of the crew survived.
Funny, isn't it?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But as I didn't go to Normandie this saturday, I decided that the night of D-Day +1 (just 4 hours since D-day ended) I went outdoor and did a very short movie.. Why? I don't know.. Just felt to it. Funny thing is, this is my first WWII video.
Here's a few preview pictures!
The German (Played by Erwin Kretschmer)

The American (Played by Lasse :icon_razz: )

And we had to remove some lighting and colours (Hey, it was afterall filmed at night!!) Here's how I did that:
First, we start with this clean and fresh picture:

We lower the colour to give a more black&white effect, while still keeping colours:

Lastly, we change the lighting and contrast, to give a more cinematic feel to it:

So, yeah.. That's how it goes! This video is just under 3 minutes long. Hope you enjoyed my little "how I do it" :)
So, 34 minutes into D+4 I was done editing and all. It was uploaded to YouTube.. Here's a link!

The video costed me alot of sleep, but I am finally done. Was really fun! :D
Hope you enojy!
