Anyone else collectors? Post up some of your original items!
I'll post more later. De-act unfortunately, but still nice to look at.

I've met them. Otto Carius is also working on the forward for my book.
Notice the bottom one says "For Mansal Denton", which is my real name.
I have an entire binder full - I'll post a picture.

How do you go about meeting veterens like that, much less Otto Carius?

And for the SS fanatics here:rolleyes:, something quite special that turned up into the collectors community, fresh out of the woodwork. http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/5220/m35allegemeine461.jpg (http://img33.imageshack.us/i/m35allegemeine461.jpg/)
M35 Black SS helmet. (don't ask it's not mine)

Nice collection there, your on the wrong forum for SS fanatics though... The Adrian helmets look extemely dated when compared to the stahlhelms, Russian & Italian models.

As said before, I just like your collection De Waal!
I'm just a starter in collecting militaria.
My goal is to dress a dressdoll with clothing (pants, shirt, jacket, ...) and sew it all on myself (or my girl's mother).
For now, I only have some minor stuff, but I'm mostly intressted in US.
Pictures can be found again on my website.

Cool stuff and it's great to see people from other units come onto our forums and participate in our community.

New items in my collection: (not really militaria but it comes from WW2 era)
I recieved two coins from "Das Deutsches Reich". These are originals and come from a coin collector.
Its hard to make sharp pictures of these litle coins, but I tried my best.
for several reasons I have put a red dot on the Swastika, but it is really there.
You can view it on my website: www.titishomepage.tk
Enjoy!

A helmet that I found from Karelian isthmus a few years ago. This can be either the Swedish m/37 or the Finnish version of it, the m/40. That bullet hole is kinda frightening...

This is my Finnish mosin m39 from year 1943. More information about the rifle: http://www.mosinnagant.net/finland/finnish_mosin_nagantm39.asp

I bought this Finnish mosin barrel from a Russian man who had found it from his field. Here you can see why it is good to store guns inside :D

And the last one, my m39 with a civil guard bayonet on it. These bayonets aren't easy to find.

Interesting shell Willy. Shame it doesn't have a liner anymore but great find. The Finnish army used all kinds of helmets during the war, from Czech, German, French, Italian etc.

awesome Willy! I am a very big fan of all Winter War/ continuation War militaria. I own an M39 with perfect markings, year 1942, SkY Manufacturers. What Make is yours? I am extremely envious of that civil guard bayonet and sheath. how did you come by that? Also do you have any recomendations for purchasing stripper clips? let me know
